Meet Nat & Barb, Directors of AT4U
Seeing a gap in unbiased AT knowledge, we're excited to share our inspiration behind our learning library. Our vision is to increase confidence for people making decisions around AT choice.
Our goal is to empower people to live with dignity, confidence and safety in their own homes. To be able to participate in activities that are meaningful or even essential to daily living. We understand that access to AT that is the best fit for the person, their environment and their lifestyle is a key factor to achieving this goal.
Our combined decades of experience as Occupational Therapists means that we've seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to AT prescription. Sometimes people need a little helping hand to guide their decision making and that's where we come in.
We have worked with many adults in the community and understand the practical challenges of matching the expansive choice of AT options with our AT user.
We are all individuals and learn differently, so we have used our knowledge to develop easy to follow modules, step by step skill building videos, tips and downloadable resources.
